Lea Michele is finally looking towards the future after withstanding what must have been one of the worst years of her life.

The 27 year-old singer/actress is now ready to let the world hear her voice as 'Louder', Michele's debut solo studio album, is scheduled to hit the stores early next month.

The 'Glee' actress has already released three singles off her first set, 'Cannonball,' 'Battlefield,' and her tribute to late boyfriend Corey Monteith 'You're Mine.'

To mark her emergence back onto the music scene, Michele took part in a racy photo-shoot, for V Magazine's spring issue, with famed photographer Terry Richardson.

While featuring in the mag's story called 'Lea The Brave', the New Yorker revealed;

"I started working with Anne Preven, Felicia Barton, and Bonnie McKee right out of the gate, and we came up with some great, awesome pop songs."

She added, "But closer to the beginning of this year - four or five months into making the album - the label was like, 'this is great, but we need more of you in here. You sound like you're singing awesome songs that are similar to Katy [Perry] or Kiely [Williams]. We need more Lea Michele.'"

'Louder' was finished in June of last year, but Lea's life changed dramatically when her boyfriend and 'Glee' co-star Corey Monteith was found dead in July 2013, when he was staying at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel in Vancouver.

After this tragedy Michele added the track s 'Cannonball' and 'If You Say So' to the album.

While talking about 'If You Say So', she said, "It's the only song that no one's heard. I can't talk about it until people hear it. I just feel like people should hear it and I don't know if I'm ever going to talk about it. It's just one of those things where I understand what it means and you can take it or leave it. That song is for me."

'Louder' is slated to hit stores on March 4th.
