In 8 week of 'Dancing With the Stars', who was eliminated?
Cher was, by far, the biggest star on Dancing With the Stars last night (4th November). The singer was a guest judge on the show and performed, with a miraculous change of costume three times.
Cher guest judged on DWTS.
The seven remaining couples were feeling the pressure this week since last week's elimination when Snooki went home. The Jersey Shore star and her professional partner were not the lowest scoring couple and even performed their samba admirably, yet it wasn't enough to save them!

Michelle Pfeiffer revealed she was involved in a cult-like relationship with a couple when she first arrived in Los Angeles. The 55-year-old actress stated the couple were "very controlling" and believed in "breatharianism", the belief that a human could reach "their highest state" through not drinking or eating.
Michelle Pfeiffer admitted to being in a cult when she was younger. The 55-year-old actress discussed her involvement with an unusual couple which led to her involvement into a cult called breatharianism. This involved abstaining from drinking or eating as they believe it food and drink are not necessary to live.
Michelle Pfeiffer discussed her cult-like lifestyle in a magazine article promoting her latest film, The Family.
The Batman actress spoke to The Sunday Telegraph's Stella magazine (published on 3rd November) about her youthful involvement in the cult. 'Dancing With the Stars' saw another surprising contestant eliminated.
With seven dance partners left on Dancing With the Stars who was voted off this week?
Leah Remini and professional dancer Valentin Chmerkovskiy.
It's week seven of Dancing With the Stars and it's been a surprising outcome. Last week the judges decided to save all the contestants but no such luck for one dancer this week. The judge's scores and the audiences' votes were combined last night and it was certainly a tense competition.

'Dancing With the Stars' is at its mid-point, with five celebrities eliminated, who left this week?
It's half-way through the season of Dancing With the Stars: the dances are becoming more complex, the stars are stressed and the competition is fiercer. With eight competitors left at the beginning of last night's (Monday, 21 October) episode and a cruel clause added to panic even the coolest of celebrities, who was eliminated this week?
Elizabeth Berkley with her dance partner Val Chermerkovskiy.
The judges, Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli, decided a "Switch Up" improvisation dance should be added in order for the competitors to gain extra points. The music at any point in a couple's performance could be switched up so the dancers were forced to think on their feet - quite literally.
Following last night's edition of the show, we're still no closer to determining who will win the contest
Dancing With The Stars entered week five when it aired on Monday, 14 October, and almost immediately host Tom Bergeron put the pressure on at least half of the contestants as he revealed that "one of our female stars will be eliminated tonight" due to last weeks voting. The pressure was on the ladies to deliver, as the latest instalment saw the remaining celebs remember the 'The Most Memorable Year of Their Life,' and perform a dance routine that explains it best.
With Len Goodman back from London and in his judge's seat after a weeks absence, he, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli cast their critical eye over the remaining contestants danced to the sounds of 1982, all the way to the present day. And before we move on to the dances, now would be a good time to say that one of next season's contestants may have already revealed themselves. Paris Hilton was in the stands cheering on pal Christina Milian, and when asked whether she could give the show a go she said, I can dance, but I can't dance like her! I could try it out one time, maybe."
First up to bat was Corbin Bleu, whose years of choice was 2011. It was chosen as his 'most memorable year'because it was the year his younger sister, Phoenix, was diagnosed with severe scoliosis. The now-12-year-old still has to wear a back brace because of the condition and Bleu dedicated his foxtrot to the girl who is "such an inspiration" to himself. And what a start to get the show under way, as Bruno declared, "You could be the lost child of Fred Astaire and Ben Vereen," before showing him a 10. Len and Carrie gave out 9's each. A Great start to get the ball rolling.

'Dancing With the Stars' played host to a stage of screen sirens and even a pilot when the celebrity competitors performed on last night's show.
Dancing With the Stars held a Hollywood Night on yesterday's (30 Sept.) show. The celebrity competitors chose Charleston's, Quicksteps and Cha Chas, whilst their costumes were definitely some of the most imaginative we've seen this season.

Dancing With the Stars loses its first celebrity in Monday Week 2 of the competition.
So who was the first to leave Dancing With the Stars? All will be revealed after these ten quick highlights from Monday, week 2:
Amber Riley performed a jive with partner Derek Hough.
1. Corbin Bleu's spectacular jive with Karina Smirnoff received two 8s and a 9 from the judges. It does seem slightly unfair considering his background but nevertheless he was a hit!

Valerie Harper is "close to remission" according to her doctor. The 74-year-old actress was given at the most 6 months to live in January. However, she is responding well to her treatment and will be able to continue enjoying her life for, hopefully, many more months to come.
Valerie Harper has defied the odds and is "close to remission", the 74-year-old actress and her doctor revealed on the Today show. This does not mean the cancer is cured as nothing, at this stage, is certain. Her doctor said "the problem is that any minute this can change", further explaining by stating that patients "develop resistance to the therapy and it's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when." This means that Harper may be able to continue long after her predicted three to six months to live.

The actress was diagnosed in January with terminal brain cancer and has been undergoing chemotherapy combined with acupuncture and Chinese tea. Harper has overcome one form of cancer, of the lung, in 2009. Tests revealed this year that she has leptomeningeal carcinomatosis, a rare condition where cancer spreads to the fluid-filled membranes around the brain.

Leah Remini is set to appear on Dancing with the Stars.
Now entering its 17th season, the dancing competition will shift to a single, two-hour airing per week, with Valerie Harper, Jersey Shore's Snooki and Showgirls star Elizabeth Berkley also tipped to appear.
Remini's inclusion is all the more notable given her parting of ways with the Church of Scientology for questioning its treatment of church members and allegedly the autocratic leadership of David Miscavige.
Mrs Scientology is apparently alive and well, despite the claims of Leah Remini.
Well this just gets weirder. Just weeks after the American actress Leah Remini left the Church of Scientology - claiming she will not be told how to live her life - she has filed a missing persons report regarding Shelly Miscavige, the wife of Scientology leader David Miscavige.
According to TMZ.com, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed there is an on-going investigation into the whereabouts of Shelly, though wouldn't say whether Leah Remini was involved.
According to a report on the Hollywood Reporter, Shelly hasn't made a public appearance in six years, though back in 2012, her attorneys issued a statement saying, "Any reports that [Shelly] is missing are false."
Leah Remini's filed missing persons report for Michelle Miscavige is "unfounded", according to an LAPD source.
Leah Remini's filed missing persons report for Michelle Miscavige, the wife of the Church of Scientology's leader David Miscavige, has been closed by the LAPD. Remini left the church last month and filed a missing persons report shortly after.

Michelle Miscavige has not been seen in public, according to The Hollywood Reporter, since 2007, however, LAPD has closed the case after contacting the elusive Michelle Miscavige. That said, a source (speaking to the New York Daily News) from the LAPD remained vague on how the police had clarified she wasn't missing: only saying "investigators have made some type of contact with her."

Leah Remini has filed a missing persons report for Michelle Miscavige, the leader of the Church of Scientology's wife, and the church has responded claiming it is a "publicity stunt".
Remini left the church last month following disagreements with Scientologist leader David Miscavige. Allegedly, troubles between the two began in 2006 at the wedding of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Remini asked Miscavige where his wife was.

It's not, now, an unreasonable question as Michelle 'Shelly' Miscavige has not been seen in public since 2007. The last time she was heard from was in 2012 when her lawyers made a public statement in which they said "any reports that [Shelly] is missing are false."
The 'King of Queens' star is already working on a revealing account into her past, just weeks after leaving the Church of Scientology
Leah Remini, the co-star of the comedy series King of Queens, made the conscious decision to leave the Church of Scientology in July this year, severing her nearly 30-year devotion to the controversial religious group. Almost a month after the New York Daily News broke the news of Remini's decision to leave the cult, the actress has since confirmed that she will be discussing all the intimate details of her life when she published her tell-all memoirs.
Remini was brave to leave behind her past
Remini's planned move into writing, which was first confirmed by Us Weekly, is due to begin almost immediately and will leave no stone unturned and no taboo ignored as she recalls a life spent with some of the most controversial religious figures in America. The actress and former Talk co-host confirmed with Us on Friday (2 August) that her book "will include [her] experiences, everything that's taboo to talk about."

Remini has revealed very little about her break from the Church of Scientology since her decision was announced over three weeks ago. It is believed the former King of Queens star left the church due to a number of disagreements with the Scientologists leader, David Miscavige. According to some reports, there has been tension between Remini and Miscavige since Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' wedding in 2006 (where Remini allegedly asked the whereabouts of Miscavige's wife).
Leah Remini has broken her silence on her exit from the Church of Scientology.
Remini - best known for starring in 'King of Queens' - split from the controversial church after three decades, thanking fans and colleagues for their support though giving no real indication as to the reasons for the departure. However, speaking to People magazine at an event in California on Saturday (July 27, 2013), the actress said: "I believe that people should value family, and value friendships, and hold those things sacrosanct. That for me, that's what I'm about."
"It wouldn't matter what it was, simply because no one is going to tell me how I need to think, no one is going to tell me who I can, and cannot, talk to," she added.

Leah Remini has spoken for the first time following the announcement that she had left the Church of Scientology. Her family, contrary to her initial concerns, appear not to have been affected by her decision.
Leah Remini has spoken for the first time about her decision to leave the Church of Scientology. The former King of Queens actress announced her decision earlier this month (11th July) and it was rumoured she had left due to a disagreement with the church's management.

She appears to have confirmed this rumour, whilst speaking to People at a DesignCare event in Malibu. She said: "I believe that people should be able to question things. She went on to say "no one is going to tell me how I need to think, no one is going to tell me who I can, and cannot, talk to".

Leah Remini and Kristie Alley appear to have fallen out over Remini's decision to leave the Church of Scientology. According to one report Alley is 'livid', however she has defended herself via Twitter saying she is not concerned by anyone's religious beliefs.
Leah Remini has left the Church of Scientology but few of her religious friends are remaining loyal. One of her former Scientologist chums, Kristie Alley (Cheers), is said to be 'livid' about Remini's defection.

The King of Queens actress allegedly left the church following disagreements with its management. These disagreements are reported to have begun in 2006, at the wedding of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise. She apparently asked David Miscavige where his wife was (Shelly Miscavige was withdrawing from public life at this time and she has not been seen in public since 2007).
