The rock legend will join former Suede guitarist Bernard Butler for the gig at the Old Fruitmarket venue in Jansch's native Glasgow, Scotland on 31 January (16).

One of the most influential folk guitarists of all time, Jansch, who died in 2011, found commercial success with his band Pentangle in the late 1960s. The group's singer Jacqui MCShee will be joining Plant and Butler on stage for the gig.

The tribute concert is part of the Glasgow's Celtic Connections festival, which will run throughout January in the Scottish city and will also feature a night in honour of Joni Mitchell, a tribute to the life of Edith Piaf, and a celebration of Paul Simon's album Graceland.
