It's the 1940s and with World War II at its most fierce, Hitler's Nazi army is threatening whole worlds of culture and history. He wants entire generations to be wiped from time but America isn't going to let it happen. The government set up a Monuments, Fine Arts, and Archives program, enlisting seven men - from art historians to museum curators - to march headfirst in the conflict and rescue important art masterpieces and artefacts from the thieving hands of the Nazis. Having only been given basic training and with very little time to waste, the brave men thrust themselves in the face of danger to protect mankind's history no matter what the consequences. With enemies everywhere and a terrain covered in landmines, the journey will not be a straightforward one.

Joey Jones has been living on the streets for a while, but after receiving a particularly bad beating by some street thugs, he decides to re-build his life once and for all. Breaking into another person's home, he changes his identity and scrubs up (quite literally) in order to get a as a chef and security guard at a London restaurant. His help ridding the eatery of any problems they might have with his swift fighting skills motivates his boss to offer him a new job which leaves him more better off than he's ever been. He decides to set out on a mission to help the poverty stricken community in which he once lived, a decision that is dramatically increased by the murder of his best friend Isabel. However, as much as he wants to use his newfound money to help those in need, he wants more than anything to start a new life and finally get away from his past.

Martin and Claudia are two lawyers who were formerly in a relationship. They are roped into a case together on the defense team of an alleged terrorist, following a tragic bombing in a London market one morning in November. It may be a difficult job to being with, but things don't get any easier when they covertly discover that their client was actually assigned as an undercover spy for MI5 and was supposed to lead them to the bombers before the attack. They soon begin to realise that their every move is being closely watched, and with threats on their life by some powerful people following their investigations and risky suggestions in court, they must escape the controlling force that is the government before they are eradicated - though it could be too late.

After their previous caped capering defeating mob boss Frank D'Amico, things seem back to normal for Dave Lizewski and Mindy who have abandoned their respective Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl monikers in favour of a regular high-school life. Mindy struggles to fit in, however, and when Dave tells her of the new generation of crime-fighting, masked civilians, the offer to get back on the streets of New York seems too good to turn down. This new league of superheroes is led by the formidable Colonel Stars and Stripes who encourages his co-crusaders, above all else, to have fun. Though when news of Red Mist, the son of the now deceased D'Amico who now dubs himself The Motherf*****, rallying together an army of supervillains to take on Kick-Ass and his cohorts, things seem less than enjoyable for the teenage heroes.

He is ex-special forces on the run from military court so when he finds the opportunity to transform into another person, he grabs it with both hands. Working as a chef in a London restaurant, he also acts as security using his specialist skills to overpower any trouble that might come their way. When his boss offers some new kind of work, he decides that he must do everything in his power to help people whose lives have been destroyed by poverty, especially when he is informed of the brutal death of one of his closest friends. However, he is torn between his desire to help those in need, and run away and start over his own life in a new place.

Dave Lizewski is Kick-Ass, a real superhero who's been trying to live a normal life as a high school student alongside his younger counterpart Mindy, also known as Hit-Girl. However, his escapades fighting and killing crime boss Frank D'Amico has inspired a generation of masked crime-fighters to band together as an alliance led by Colonel Stars and Stripes to protect the streets of New York. Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl decide to don their costumes again when news of Red Mist, D'Amico's son who is now known as supervillain The Motherf*****, assembling an army to destroy them reaches them. However, the hero duo have other things to worry about when the NYPD decide they've had enough of cleaning up the mess of the city's masked protectors and so vow to arrest every costume donning person on the streets. Hit-Girl is apprehended and forced to give up her moniker, and so Kick-Ass must join superhero league Justice Forever in order to combat the imminent uprising of the new formidable evil. 

Based on the comic books of the same name by Mark Millar and John Romita. Jr and following on from 2010's 'Kick-Ass' directed by Matthew Vaughn ('X-Men: First Class', 'Stardust', 'Layer Cake'), 'Kick-Ass 2' is the thrilling sequel seeing Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl older and tougher than ever before. It has been directed and written this time by Jeff Wadlow ('Never Back Down', 'Cry_Wolf') and is set for release on August 16th 2013.

Following the perilous events of the first movie, former CIA agent Frank Moses tries yet again to retire quietly with his young partner Sarah. However, he is soon chased down by his paranoid buddy Marvin Boggs who isn't taking to retirement as well as Frank is and is determined to set out on a new mission; to find a nuclear device that is being hunted by a group government officials, terrorists and brutal assassins. Meanwhile, the aging MI6 agent Victoria is mildly curious to learn that she has been contracted to hunt and kill Frank despite the pair being friends. 'Red 2' is set to be full of more death-defying adventures, dry humour and nigh on impossible missions as the Retired, Extremely Dangerous crew get together once more.

'Red 2' is the follow up from the 2010 movie directed by Robert Schwentke ('The Time Traveller's Wife') and based on the graphic novel mini-series created by Warren Ellis and Cully Hamner on DC Comics' Homage. This time we have an all new director, Oscar winner Dean Parisot ('Galaxy Quest', 'Fun with Dick and Jane'), and two returns from screenwriters Jon Hoeber and Erich Hoeber ('Battleship', 'Whiteout'). It's an action comedy due for release in the UK on August 2nd 2013.
