Filmmaker Lee Daniels and Oprah Winfrey are in talks to reteam for a remake of movie classic Terms of Endearment.
If Oprah and Daniels sign up for the project, which is in development at Paramount Pictures, it will mark the first time the two have worked together since the 2013 biopic The Butler.
The original film adaptation of Larry MCMurtry's novel picked up 11 Academy Awards nominations and took home five, including Best Picture and acting prizes for Shirley MACLaine and Jack Nicholson.
Winfrey will reportedly take on the role originated by MACLaine.
