Lena Headey has been nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series at the 2014 Primetime Emmy Awards for her role as Cersei Lannister in Game Of Thrones. But if you thought her role in season four of the hit HBO show was a challenge, there's worse to come for the incestuous Queen.

The show's production has allegedly been hampered by religious opposition. In one scene in the upcoming series, Headey is required to walk naked through the streets of King's Landing. Unfortunately, according to TMZ, the church of St. Nicholas in the Croatian city of Dubrovnik is opposing filming such a scene. The entertainment website claim the show's producers have come up against opposition and are struggling to get a permit to film the scene in the medieval town.

It's now thought the scene, which is of crucial importance to the plot and Cersei's characterisation, will be shot elsewhere. According to the Sydney Herald, filming for the fifth season is well underway and a release date has been set for April of next year.

The Primetime Emmy Awards, taking place tonight (25th August) in Los Angeles, will see if Headey and her co-star and on-screen brother Peter Dinklage have won the awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress/Actor in a Drama Series. Game of Thrones is also up for other awards including Guest Actress in a Drama Series (Diana Rigg), writing for the episode 'The Children', and directing for the episode 'The Watchers On The Wall'. The entire series has also been nominated for the Outstanding Drama Series award.
