The Turn Down for What star, real name Jonathan Smith, purchased a four-bedroom home in Alpharetta, Georgia in 2005, and hired three companies to carry out work on the $1.2 million (£750,000) property.

Bosses from Lackey Drywall, KLS Plumbing and Eastern Wallboard Supply have now filed separate liens against the rapper's home in a bid to recoup what they are owed, which collectively amounts to $22,793 (£36,500), according to TMZ.com.

A representative for the star blames the general contractor who was hired to oversee renovations, and insists Smith is in the process of resolving the matter.
