Rapper Lil Jon has taken aim at election officials in Atlanta, Georgia for failing to mail him an absentee ballot ahead of the U.S. midterm elections on Tuesday (04Nov14).

The Turn Down For What hitmaker took to Instagram.com to hit out at the officials and revealed he was catching an early morning flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta in order to make sure his vote counted.

Sharing the news of his dramatic journey, he wrote, "6Am Flight To Atl (Atlanta) To Vote Because Ga (Georgia) Neva Sent My Ballot After Numerous Calls!!! U Cant Discourage Me (sic)!"

Lil Jon also urged fans to follow his example and make sure they voted on Tuesday as part of the Rock the Vote campaign, for which he is a spokesman.

The rapper even remixed his party anthem Turn Down For What for the initiative, which is aimed at getting young voters to the polls.
