Lily Aldridge begged for a role in the new 'Star Wars' movie.

The 28-year-old model - who has two-year-old daughter Dixie with husband Caleb Followill - is a huge sci-fi fan and was so excited when she learned the franchise was being rebooted, she asked her agent to get her a role as an extra, and didn't even mind if she was totally hidden and unrecognisable.

She said: ''I actually called my agent and was like, 'Can you get me a job as an extra? You know, like, I'll be a stormtrooper in the background, I don't care.'

''You would never know it's me. But I would know.''

As well as her love of 'Star Wars', Lily is also a big fan of 'Game of Thrones' but admits her favourite character changes with each season.

She said: ''My favourite character used to be Jon Snow but now it's turning into Sam. I love him so much.''

Though the Victoria's Secret beauty hasn't yet allowed Dixie to stay up late enough to go and watch her Kings Of Leon frontman father's gigs, she does take the youngster to the band's rehearsals and says the tot thinks it's ''super-cool''.

She told Britain's GQ magazine: ''She doesn't go to concerts yet. I'm pretty strict with bedtimes. But she comes to the soundchecks. She just thinks it's super-cool.''
