Lindsay Lohan has apologised for making her relationship problems with fiancé Egor Tarabasov public, saying she was acting out of “fear and sadness.” Lohan publicly accused Tarabasov of cheating over the weekend and police were reportedly called to the couple’s London home on Saturday morning, after neighbours heard them arguing.

On Instagram Lohan wrote: “Dear friends. I'm good and well. I am taking time for myself with good friends. I am sorry that I've exposed certain private matters recently. I was acting out of fear and sadness.”

“We all make mistakes. Sadly mine have always been so public. I have done a lot of soul searching in the past years, and I should have been more clear minded rather than distract from the good heart that I have.”

Perhaps hinting that things weren't totally over between her and Tarabasov, she added: “maybe things can be fixed. Maybe not. I hope they can. But I am 30 years old and I do deserve a #Gentlegiant.”

In a series of now deleted posts made over the weekend, Lohan accused Tarabasov of staying out partying all night and cheating on her, with a woman she referred to as a “Russian hooker”. Police were then reported to have been called to the couple’s house in the early hours of Saturday morning, but no arrests were made.

Speaking to US Weekly, Lohan’s father Michael said Tarabasov was now “off the radar” after the weekend’s events. Michael said his daughter had been: "texting me back and forth that she's OK but [Tarabasov is] off the radar, and he has been off the radar since this happened.”

"Things happen," he added. "I don't know what their relationship is like. Relationships take twists and turns, what are you going to do?” Lohan and Tarabasov have been dating for over a year and in April it was reported they were now engaged.
