Lindsay Lohan has been familiar with the darker side of fame since the earliest days of her career, but she finally had too much during the taping of her OWN show, when Lohan suffered a miscarriage. Lindsay revealed the news during the final episode of her eponymous docu-series, when asked to reflect on her experience on the Oprah Winfrey-produced series.

The OWN show has seen Lindsay bare her soul in more ways than one.

"No one knows this," Lohan said ... "I had a miscarriage for those two weeks that I took off.”

Lohan says she hadn’t shared her painful secret with anyone up until that point – the Lindsay episode, which aired last night was the first time the actress has mentioned it. However, she implied that the miscarriage has been on her mind ever since.

"It's a very long story, but that's why on the show when it says she doesn't want to come down, I couldn't move, I was sick. Mentally, that messes with you."

After the final episode of Lindsay has aired, the troubled star might finally find some closure.

Lohan said the crisis was hinted at in a previous episode of the show when she couldn’t leave her room and it was announced “she doesn’t want to come down.”

Of course, Lohan didn’t reveal the father. That might have had some unfortunate consequences for both her and the man in question. Now that Lindsay has finished airing, its star might finally be able to get some closure. On the bright side, Lohan explained that taping the series had been a cathartic experience for her and that she’s coming out of it all a changed woman: “Watching this series, I just know how I felt at that moment and I can relate to that girl, which sounds kind of crazy,” Lohan said. “But I’m like, ‘Oh my god, this is really sad. Who’s helping her?’”

Her mother, Dina Lohan, must less impressed, when she reportedly tweeted at Oprah Winfrey (producer of Lindsay and general celebrity fixer): “Oprah call me.” The NY Daily News reported on the tweet, but it had been deleted by Monday morning.

Lindsay's collaboration with Oprah was an attempt to clean up her act and get some publicity in the process.
