With at least 22 people dead and 1 million without power in New York, Lindsay Lohan's outburst about Hurricane Sandy seems more ridiculous by the day. You may remember the actress telling followers last week, "WHY is everyone in SUCH a panic about hurricane (i'm calling it Sally)..? Stop projecting negativity! Think positive and pray for peace."

Mayor Michael Bloomberg didn't quite agree with Lindsay, shutting down the subway system in New York shortly before the devastating hurricane ripped through Manhattan and the East Coast, with at least 22 fatalities. Bizarrely, Lohan also began re-tweeting advice and details about the hurricane, including a New York Daily News piece that read, "Over 6,800 flight cancellations so far as a result of #HurricaneSandy. Read the latest details on our site." Though the worst is now over for New Yorkers, Mayor Bloomberg warned citizens today, "We expected an unprecedented storm impact here on New York City and that's what we got. So while the worst of this storm has passed, the conditions are still dangerous. Clearly the challenges our city faces in the coming days are enormous."

Almost 4,000 utility workers, some from California, are expected to arrive in New York this week to help turn on the power. We suggest Lindsay Lohan hires a new publicist ASAP, just somebody, anybody, to stop her saying stupid things.
