Viewers were supposed to get the chance to learn everything there is to know about Lindsay Lohan, via her docu-series to air on OWN. Unfortunately, in a rather predictable twist, Oprah and her crew have had a lot of trouble filming the series and, as the newly released trailer shows, Lindsay has ended up being more about the difficult filming process, rather than the troubled starlet herself.

Lindsay Lohan
Will we see a new and improved Lindsay Lohan this time?

The series from Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network promises an “honest, no-holds-barred account” and “an intimate, unflinching look” at the actress after she left rehab last year. Unfortunately, Lohan turned out to be one difficult subject to get through. At one point, the famously cool and collected Winfrey can be heard saying: “This is exactly what everybody said was going to happen and I believed differently. You need to cut the [expletive].”

You know things are serious when Oprah starts slipping into expletives. Maybe this is just savvy promotion on Winfrey's part, but it sounds like filming was derailed on at least one occasion.

Or is the starlet back to her old tricks?

As for the official description, it’s a lot less interesting than what was apparently going on behind the scenes. The series is just billed as a documentary, tracking Lohan’s struggles to rebuild her career. The description, via Entertainment Weekly, reads: ““Equipped with a new personal assistant and sober coach, Lindsay moves into a New York hotel and begins the challenging search for a new apartment, while career pressures build.” Lindsay premieres Sunday, March 9, on OWN.

Oprah Winfrey
There must have been serious problems for Oprah to lose her cool.
