Linkin Park swapped rock music for construction work last month (May10) to help build an eco-friendly apartment complex in California for needy families.
Vocalist Mike Shinoda, guitarist Brad Delson and bassist Dave 'Phoenix' Farrell all donned hard hats to work on the building site in Lynwood, California as part of their Music For Relief charity efforts.
The homes are energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly and will be designated for poverty-stricken families in conjunction with the band's foundation and the Habitat For Humanity organisation.
