Fact: Actress and activist Lucy Liu was honoured for her humanitarian work on Saturday (20Feb16) as she was named the 2016 Artist of the Year by officials at the Harvard Foundation for Intercultural and Race Relations. The Charlie's Angels star, an ambassador for children's charity UNICEF and spokesperson for the Human Rights Campaign, was presented with the prize at the Cultural Rhythms Festival at Sanders Theater in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Previous honourees include Eva Longoria, Matt Damon, Salma Hayek, and Denzel Washington.
