Santa Maradona F.C. is an music experiment.an anonymous collective of globe-trotting musicians and producers dabbling with genre curving soundscapes and collaborations.

Formed truly "on the road" SMFC came together via chance encounters in bars, clubs, fairs and festivals. one a guitarist in a touring rock band, one an international dj/producer another a famed percussionist and others still from the creative arts, hairdressing and. the odd engineer.

The first single 'Give Me Sunshine' features the lyrical and vocal talents of totally unknown web find Lucy Spraggan. (or so SMFC thought until they spoke to their manager ;). The truth is, one of the members does not read magazines nor own a TV or a Radio and found a video online with less than 1000 views by a singer that he likes.he wrote to her and she was up for coming to the studio.

And thus it came to be..(and this is absolutely true.)

Released on Brock Wild Records, a brand new alt-pop-crossover imprint, 'Give Me Sunshine' is the soundtrack to the summer and comes with remixes by Mark Knight, Joyce Muniz and Ruben Mandolini.
