The Promise Trailer

Michael is a promisingstudent living in Armenia during the Ottoman Turkish Empire, who agrees to marry a rich woman in return for a dowry than can put him through medical school. He travels to Istanbul where he meets a reporter for the Associated Press named Christopher and his Armenian love interest Ana who grew up in France. It isn't long before a love triangle develops between the three of them which causes tension in their relationships, but all of that ceases to matter when the Empire begins the Armenian Genocide. He manages to get out of serving in the army, but after trying to save a member of his family he gets locked up in a prison camp himself. With his village in danger, all he wants is to rescue his family and his people, and Christopher - freeing himself of his jealousy of Ana and Michael's attraction - insists on helping in their escape.

Sinbad: The Fifth Voyage Trailer

For some people, the safety of a stable life on the shore is frankly unbearable; people like Sinbad. After reminiscing long enough over the danger and excitement of his previous adventures, the sailor is ready to set out on another voyage across the open sea. Luckily for him (or not, as the case may be for most people) he is challenged by the Sultan to chase down a wicked magician, who has  callously snatched away his first-born daughter. Sinbad must travel great deserts and wild oceans, meeting numerous magical adversaries along the way in order to win back the Princess. He must face far greater horrors than he's ever seen before, and all while protecting royal blood.

Camp X-Ray Trailer

Upon first arrival at Guantanamo Bay detention camp, Private Amy Cole (Kristen Stewart) is given a set of strict instructions: refer to the people in cells as detainees, not prisoners; do not let the detainees know anything about you or get inside your head; and understand that they are in a war zone. Unfortunately, these rules start to become stronger enforcers of the idea that 'black and white' state of affairs are entirely fabricated. As Cole steadily befriends a man named Ali (Peyman Moaadi) who is kept confined in one of the cells, she begins to realise that outlines of good and bad are totally askew in this weird and alien place.

God's Not Dead Trailer

When devoted Christian Josh Wheaton begins his college year, he has no idea that he would be facing a huge personal battle when his philosophy teacher Professor Radisson heartlessly tries to force him to throw his religion aside for the sake of the course. While everyone else in room willingly follows instruction and writes God Is Dead on their sheets of paper, Josh finds himself unable to dismiss his faith that easily, incurring Mr Radission's annoyance. With no desire to drop the subject, he has to pass the semester, but in order to do so he must present a convincing argument about the existence of God. If he does not manage to change the atheistic minds of all his classmates, he will no doubt fail the class thus ruining his future plans.

10,000 B.C. Review

Weak
You'd think that with mammoths, saber-tooth tigers, and large, screeching birds you wouldn't need much more to deliver an entertaining romp through yester-epoch, but 10,000 B.C. proves that merely having an exotic setting as your premise won't get you over a mundane plot and more mundane characters.

The film begins with a blue-eyed girl coming to live with a clan of "manuk" (that's "mammoth" to you and me) hunters after her tribe is wiped out by what appear to be the bad guys from Conan the Barbarian. The tribe elder (Mona Hammond) declares that this girl is part of some prophecy while the son of the tribe's #1 hunter looks on.
