'#Beautiful' singer Mariah Carey and her husband Nick Cannon were seen arriving at the New York premiere for 'The Butler' in which Mariah stars as Hattie Pearl. She is sporting an injured arm in a cast supported in a fashionable studded leather sling.
One of the film's main themes is racism, something that Mariah is all too familiar with. She recently told Yahoo! Movies that she identified with one scene in the movie where a white woman spits in the face of a black student. 'That actually happened to me', she revealed. 'It was a school bus, in the face and in the same way.'
