French actress Marion Cotillard was the undisputed queen of the Cannes red carpet in her chic Christian Dior gown at the 'Blood Ties' premiere on Monday (20.05.13).
Marion Cotillard was the undisputed queen of the red carpet at Cannes this week.
The French actress wowed as she arrived at the premiere of her upcoming film 'Blood Ties' wearing an elegant yellow, black and white Christian Dior gown with a streak of blue, taken from creative director Raf Simons' first cruise collection.
Her dress was fresh off the runway following the label's show in Monte Carlo on Saturday (18.05.13), making her the second famous female to step into the piece after Princess Charlene of Monaco.
With its abstract design and colour blocks, Simons' graceful ensemble seemed to take inspiration from Yves Saint Laurent's 1965 collection of a similar style.
To add to the overall look, Marion pinned her brunette locks into a chic Audrey Hepburn-style updo and accessorised with jewellery from Chopard's Green Carpet Collection, created by Livia Firth and Eco-Age.
Marion, 34, wasn't the only star to opt for a flowing design at the event.
Her co-star Zoe Saldana showed up in a classic grey Valentino dress, and although the embroidered piece made a statement, it failed to show off her killer figure and was not met with the same enthusiasm as Marion's outfit choice.
Other stars at the premiere included actresses Milla Jovovich, who stunned in a floral Chanel Couture, and Rosario Dawson, who stepped out in a gorgeous Elie Saab design.
