The sexual misconduct scandal in Hollywood continues to roll on, with 17 former female cast and crew members on hit television series 'One Tree Hill' joining together in support of the show's writer Audrey Wauchope, all alleging they had been sexual harassed, physically and/or emotionally manipulated by the series' creator, Mark Schwahn.

Taking to her Twitter account over the weekend, Wauchope alleged: "I'm furious and sad and everything else for the women who have sat on the couch next to that man [Schwahn]. And I'm furious and sad and everything else that years later I don't feel safe to be able to do anything real about this and that it seems to be happening all over this town."

Throwing their support behind Wauchope, 17 female cast and crew members on the show, including the likes of Hilarie Burton and Sophia Bush added in a public letter: "Schwahn’s behavior over the duration of the filming of One Tree Hill was something of an ‘open secret.’ Many of us were, to varying degrees, manipulated psychologically and emotionally. More than one of us is still in treatment for post-traumatic stress. Many of us were put in uncomfortable positions and had to swiftly learn to fight back, sometimes physically, because it was made clear to us that the supervisors in the room were not the protectors they were supposed to be. Many of us were spoken to in ways that ran the spectrum from deeply upsetting, to traumatizing, to downright illegal. And a few of us were put in positions where we felt physically unsafe. More than one woman on our show had her career trajectory threatened."

The other women who co-signed the letter include Bethany Joy Lenz, Danneel Harris, Michaela McManus, Kate Voegele, Daphne Zuniga, India de Beaufort, Bevin Prince, Jana Kramer, Shantel Van Santen, Allison Munn, Rachel Specter, Cristy Koebley, JoJo Stephens, Jane Beck and Tarin Squillante.

At the time of writing, Schwahn representatives haven't responded to any news outlets request for comment from what we can see. We imagine they'll be taking their time to put out a concise response, whether it be an acknowledgement and apology, or a complete denial.

The allegations come after the likes of Kevin Spacey, Harvey Weinstein and Brett Ratner (along with many other powerful figures) have been accused of sexual misconduct. To-date, many denials have been made, but comedian Louis C.K. responded to accusations of his own and admitted he had acted indecently in the past.

This is going to be one that rolls on for Hollywood for some time.
