Fact: Actor Matthew MacFadyen's British crime drama Ripper Street is ending after its fifth season. The period drama, set in the years following Jack The Ripper's murder spree in 1880s London, was originally axed in 2013 after two seasons on air due to a drop in ratings, but it was revived in 2014 by TV bosses at Amazon.com before transferring to the BBC's TV channels. The series' final season has since begun filming in Dublin, Ireland.
