Heavy Rockers MEGADETH Have Turned To Their Fans To Help Fund Their New Album.
Just weeks after recruiting new members Kiko Loureiro and Chris Adler, band leader Dave Mustaine is ready to start work on the group's 15th studio album - and he has launched a crowdfunding campaign to get it underway.
The PledgeMusic initiative offers fans who donate to the cause the chance to pick up everything from signed CDs to a disposable camera full of photos taken in the studio and a private songwriting session with Mustaine.
Launching the campaign, the band writes, "For the first time, MEGADETH is going to bring you into the process and give you a window into the world of Dave Mustaine. Pre-order the album digitally, on CD or on vinyl plus tons of other unique offerings like signed CDs, signed vinyl, gear from the studio and much more.
"No matter what you order, you will get access to a variety of behind-the-scenes content such as photos and videos from the writing and recording sessions. You’ll get full access to the process in real time."
The new album will be the band's follow-up to 2013's Super Collider.
