Megan Fox is one of Hollywood's most beautiful actresses, and in her very first Instagram post she shows why.

The 28 year-old star, who is known for her stylish and glamorous red carpet looks, marked joining the photo-sharing social network by posting her very first selfie without any make-up.

On Thursday (July 4th), Fox's uploaded snap showed her looking very fresh-faced while wearing a plain white bathrobe.

"First IG selfie," her first caption read. "Early morning?no makeup ?filter??."

The 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' actress's Instagram username is @the_native_tiger and her bio piece is rather unique.

"Child of the Cherokee Tribe ... forest nymph ... Lunar Leo mother goddess to 2 bohemian revolutionaries-my kamikaze free spirit & my peaceful warrior," she wrote.

Fox joining the social network comes only days after she hinted at walking away from showbiz, or at least taking on less work in order to spend more time with her family.

"I've never been an extraordinarily ambitious girl or career-oriented, but especially once I got pregnant with my first son and now [having] my second, it's so hard to be a working mom especially when your heart is not in your work, when your heart is with your family," the brunette beauty said to Parents magazine.

The 'Transformers' star, who is the mother of two boys, 2 month-old Bodhi, and Noah (19 months), has been married to their father Brian Austin Green, since 2010.

Fox also revealed that her only motivation to keep making movies is simply to take care of her young family financially.

"I have to make one movie a year because I have to invest in their future and I have to be able to pay their way through college and be able to provide for them," she said.

"I'm looking for movies that will shoot in Los Angeles, for projects where I'm part of an ensemble so I can shoot in and out in 10-20 days," Megan continued. "It's all about trying to spend as little time away from my kids as possible."

Maybe joining Instagram is her way of keeping in touch with the fans as her movie career winds down.
