The Teeange Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie has a new cast member, and, in the most unlikely reconciliation in Hollywood, it’s Megan Fox! She’ll play April O’Neil in the film. Bay announced the news on his website, posting, simply, “TMNT: we are bringing Megan Fox back into the family!”.

Sources explained to The Hollywood reporter that Fox and Bay (possible outwear clothing range?) have buried the hatchet and are ready to work with one another. In 2009 Fox said of Bay: “He’s like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he’s a nightmare to work for, but when you get him away from set, and he’s not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he’s so hopelessly awkward.” Fox will be hoping Bay doesn’t stumble upon this quite again while filming.

The pizza scoffing four-piece, comprising Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael are yet to be cast, but relatively unknown actors are said to be testing for the roles. The film, which was originally a cartoon in the eighties about ninja turtles saving the earth, is set for a summer 2014 release in the U.S
