Has Mel C Written A 'Diss Track' Aimed At Mel B On New Album?

Mel C has reportedly reignited her feud with former bandmate Mel B, with a ‘diss track’ on her new album.

The former Spice Girl has has neither confirmed nor denied whether the lyrics in question are aimed at Mel B.

Is Mel C taking aim at Mel B on her new album?

According to The Sun, Mel’s new album Version of Me contains a track with the lyrics: “This is not your playground. I’m not here for you to shoot me down.

“You’re praying on my weakness even when you’re not around. Nothing lasts forever but you’re wrapped around my DNA.

“And I’m hiding in the corner the wounded kid I was, like it was yesterday, like nothing’s changed."

She continues: “Ever so quietly, comes creeping back up on me, haunting me, goading me. Why can’t you let go of me, I don’t have the patience anymore.”

Mel C has only said that the track is about not being treated very well by ‘someone’, but sources told the newspaper that it is in fact about Mel B.

The fall out could be to do with Mel’s refusal to take part in the Spice Girls reunion, which Mel B, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton have all signed up for.

In an essay penned for Love magazine in August Mel explained her decission, writing: “For me the absolute pinnacle of my Spice existence was being watched by a billion people around the globe belting out Spice up Your Life on top of a black cab at the 2012 London Olympics.

"Anything less than the full line-up just didn’t feel like we’d be doing justice to the band or the fans.”
