Actress Melanie Griffith has dropped out of upcoming movie The Hot Flashes due to "creative differences".
The Working Girl star was cast as Clementine Winks in the new comedy, about an unlikely basketball team made up of middle-aged women, and she was seen filming the project in New Orleans, Louisiana last week (23Feb12).
But Griffith, who has scaled down her acting commitments to a handful of TV guest appearances in recent years, has now walked away from the shoot.
Explaining her decision on Twitter.com on Tuesday (28Feb12), she writes, "I am sorry to say that due to 'creative differences' I will no longer be in The Hot Flashes. But I love all you wonderful people of NO (New Orleans)! Love".
Darryl Hannah, Eric Roberts and Brooke Shields also star in The Hot Flashes.
