The trailer for Paul Feig’s upcoming Ghostbuster’s reboot is Youtube’s most disliked movie trailer of all time, according to a playlist of the site’s most thumbed-down videos. The list of the top 100 most “disliked” videos on YouTube (as of April 16th), places the reboot’s trailer at number 18 overall with over 610,000 dislikes.

Overall the trailer has had nearly 30 million views since its release on March 3rd, with 610,000 viewers choosing to hit the dislike button and just over 214,450 giving it a thumbs up. The trailer’s comment section is also filled with users complaining about the reboot, with many calling it unnecessary or just 'not funny'.

However a number of negative comments are focusing on the fact that the film has four female leads, Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones, causing the comment section to become a debate over wether or not it’s ‘misogynist’ to dislike the film.

The Ghostbusters reboot has been the subject of controversy ever since it was first announced 2014 and director Paul Feig has taken a barrage of criticism on social media. In March he told Buzzfeed: “If it’s pure misogyny [on Twitter], it’s a non-starter to me. I go, ‘You’re somebody I don’t even want to deal with.’”

Ghostbusters also stars Chris Hemsworth as the team’s receptionist and Andy Garcia as the Mayor of New York City. The film will also feature cameos from original stars Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, Ernie Hudson and Annie Potts. Ghostbusters hits theatres on July 15th.
