Michael Buble (born 9.9.1975) Michael Buble is a Grammy award-winning Canadian singer and actor.
Childhood: Michael Buble was born in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, to Lewis and Amber Buble. His father was a salmon fisherman. Michael is the eldest of three children; he has two younger sisters. Buble attended Seaforth Elementary School and Cariboo Hill Secondary School. The first time that Michael Buble's family paid attention to his singing talent was when he sang 'White Christmas' at the age of 13.
At the age of around 16, Michael Buble began singing in nightclubs, encouraged by his Italian grandfather. His grandfather was a plumber and offered his plumbing services in return for his grandson's stage time.
When he was 18, Michael Buble entered a local talent contest. He won, but was subsequently disqualified for being underage. He was, however, entered into the Canadian Youth Talent Search by Bev Delich. Buble won the competition and Delich became his manager.
Music Career: Under Delich's management, Michael Buble took on almost every gig that he was offered, including cruise ships, shopping malls, corporate events and the occasional singing Santa Claus gig.
He also took on a number of small acting roles, including playing a Drome Groupie in the TV series 'Death Game' and two un-credited appearances in The X-Files.
His debut TV appearance as a singer was on the Bravo! channel's documentary Big Band Boom! He was then nominated for two Genie awards for 'I've Never Been In Love Before' and 'Dumb Ol' Heart', which he wrote for the film Here's To Life.
Michael Buble recorded three independent albums between 1996 and 2002: First Dance, Babalu, and Dream. By the age of 15, Michael Buble had moved to Toronto and was on the brink of giving up his dreams of becoming a musician. He had planned to move back to Vancouver ad start a career in journalism.
Buble's big break came when an aide to the Canadian Prime Minister, Brian Mulroney, saw Buble perform at a business event. The aide, Michael McSweeney, then asked Buble to perform at his daughter's wedding, where he sang songs by Bobby Darin, among others. Whilst at the wedding, he was introduced to David Foster, a record producer who had previously worked with Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Barbra Streisand.
When David Foster agreed to produce Buble's debut official album release, Bruce Allen also agreed to manage him (Allen had previously managed Bryan Adams and Martina McBride). Buble also received the seal of approval from Foster's long-time friend, Paul Anka.
Michael Buble also continued with small acting roles, including his performance as a karaoke singer opposite Gwyneth Paltrow and Huey Lewis in Duets and a club owner in Totally Blonde with Krista Allen.

Britney Spears ANNOUNCES NEW LAS VEGAS RESIDENCY
Britney Spears has announced details of a second Las Vegas residency, following the resounding success of her Piece Of Me run which lasted a staggering four years.
The move was announced on Thursday night (October 18th) that the 36 year old pop megastar will have a new residency, slated to begin in 2019 at the theater inside the new Park MGM Resort.
Buble hit out at a Daily Mail interview from last week that falsely claimed he was about to jack in music for good.
Michael Buble has dismissed recent reports suggesting that he’s about to retire from music, saying that he was misquoted in an interview.
The Canadian-born singer told the Associated Press on Tuesday (October 16th) that he was mis-represented in a chat with the Daily Mail last week on October 13th. The paper claimed that Buble was on the verge of packing in music after the release of his upcoming eighth album Love, and that it was because of his young son Noah’s cancer diagnosis.
“I'll keep going until the news of my death comes out, which will probably be fake too,” he said, laughing. “At that point, you're really famous now. Things are really going well on this record. Buble is hanging with Elvis… Buble and Elvis having fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches together.”

There'll never be a crooner like Buble again.
Crooning definitely seemed to go out of fashion in the mid-fifties. With the rise of pop music and rock 'n' roll, there simply wasn't room for such jazz sounds. Michael Buble's style of vocal has been confined to the lounge for so many years with only the occasional resurgence (Barry Manilow, Harry Connick Jr. etc.), but he's been the one to bring it to the arenas of this generation.
Always at home when on stage, Michael Buble is an incredibly consistent performer
As it stands, he's pretty much the only artist who has maintained the cool factor - on a solo level at least. We're not forgetting Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett's number one standards hit 'Cheek To Cheek', but old Tony couldn't have expected to see much chart action without the pop princess.
