Michelle Heaton is hoping she will not have so many medical issues in 2015 and can live a healthy life.
Michelle Heaton is hoping for a healthier 2015.
The Liberty X singer - who has children Faith, two, and 10-month-old AJ, with husband Hugh Hanley - underwent a double mastectomy in November 2012 and a hysterectomy two months ago to minimise her chances of contracting breast and ovarian cancer and is hoping the preventative measures mean she'll be avoiding hospitals next year.
Michelle - who has also suffered from heart problems - said: ''Hugh and I have both said that, if we can help it, no more hospitals next year. We're determined to make 2015 the best one yet. After everything we've been through, I know we deserve a good year.''
This year, Michelle's good friend Katie Price was stunned to learn her husband Kieran Hayler had cheated on her with two pals and the 35-year-old singer is hoping 2015 is a lot happier for the former glamour model, who has subsequently reconciled with Kieran and plans to renew her vows with him in January.
Michelle said: ''Katie has been through such a tough time and I only want happiness for her in 2015. It's good to have a friendship like ours because we can really lean on each other. Katie and I are the type of friends who don't need to see each other all the time to be close. Our friendship is strong.''
