Just what does Dominic Toretto think he's doing? It seems the original team has disbanded, with Brian and Mia having retired from the fast life (literally) and the world of crime, and it seemed like Dom and Letty had a normal life ahead of them following their marriage. If you thought things had cooled down for the 'Fast and Furious' team in the last film, you were wrong. They compromised their amnesty over their past crimes with events in 'Furious 7', and now most fo the group has disbanded, Brian and Mia have retired from their street-racing-cum-crime careers and Dom (Vin Diesel) and Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) are intending to follow a normal life following their honeymoon. Unfortunately, Dom's love of danger draws him to a mysterious stranger who enlists him into another crime-fuelled adventure which takes him everywhere from Cuba to New York to the Arctic. He ends up betraying his closest friends, people who have become more like family, as he embarks on a journey that will bring him challenges that he's never experience before.

Machete Cortez is a formidable former member of the Mexican Federal Police and happens to be one of the most badass, ruthless killers ever known. He is enlisted by the US President on a new mission to save the world, being asked to find a crazed anarchist named Mendez and prevent him from launching a nuclear weapon at Washington DC. However, it soon begins clear that he can't trust everyone around him and discovers that an arms dealer named Luther Voz may actually be the real villain in the situation as he is hatching a dastardly plan to cause chaos in every country in the world. There's something no-one's telling Machete about this business but he'll damn well try to find out what it is.

Turbo has big dreams for such a small garden snail; dreams that stretch beyond his regular, sluggish, plant-pot dwelling life. However, when Hobbs shows him a week old photograph of Dom's former love Letty who he thought was dead, he takes on the job with his friends, determined to find out the truth even if it's the last thing he wants to hear. In return for the capture of this gang of road miscreants, the trio are offered a full pardon for their own crimes. However, with the stakes this high, survival becomes the most sought after prize for their latest challenge.

'Turbo' is the hilarious and delightful new animated movie from DreamWorks about the power of hope and determination in striving to achieve your dreams. It is David Soren's directorial feature film debut, though he has worked on a string of other animated flicks in other departments. He also co-wrote 'Turbo' with Darren Lemke ('Jack the Giant Slayer', 'Shrek Forever After') and Robert D. Siegel ('The Wrestler', 'Big Fan'). It is scheduled to be released in UK cinemas this Autumn on October 18th 2013.

Following the events of the Fast franchise's fifth instalment 'Fast Five', our favourite street racers are back with the upcoming 'Fast & Furious 6'. With a full all-star cast return, the movie looks set to be a hit following the trailer's debut at the Super Bowl XLVII. It has been directed by Justin Lin ('Annapolis') and written by Chris Morgan ('Cellular', 'Wanted') of the last three instalments and is scheduled to be released in the UK on May 24th 2013.

'Turbo' is a wonderful animated family comedy from DreamWorks about determination, hope and achieving your dreams. It is the feature directorial debut of David Soren who has previously worked on 'Shark Tale', 'Madagascar 2' and 'Shrek' in various departments and who also acted as a co-writer for the film alongside Darren Lemke ('Jack the Giant Slayer', 'Shrek Forever After') and Robert D. Siegel ('The Wrestler', 'Big Fan'). It's a delightful little tale due for release much later in the year on October 18th 2013.
