A charity show in Hawaii featuring stars including Mick Fleetwood and Jimmy Buffett was ruined by a massive thunderstorm which prompted organisers to cut the concert short.

A star-studded line-up had been prepared for the Kokua for the Philippines event on Sunday (15Dec13) to raise money for victims of Typhoon Haiyan, but a live Tv broadcast of the outdoor concert was called off after heavy rain and wind hit the Honolulu venue.

The gig was moved indoors and shortened, with several acts bumped from the schedule, but the telethon still managed to raise nearly $1.8 million (£1.2 million) for the American Red Cross.
