Mike Myers and his wife are expecting their second child.

The 50-year-old actor, who already has a two-year-old son, Spike, is reportedly over-the-moon that his wife Kelly Tisdale is pregnant again.

A spokesperson for the actor confirmed the couple would welcome a new baby next year, according to UsMagazine.com.

The 'Shrek' star recently revealed his directorial debut, 'Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon,' a documentary about the talent manager whose client list included Alice Cooper and Blondie, which debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival in September, inspired him to become a father.

He said: ''Anyone who tells you fatherhood is the greatest thing that can happen to you, they are understating it. I am the happiest I have ever been in my life. I knew I wanted to be a father, I didn't know it was going to be this awesome or that my kid would come out so beautiful and lovely.''

He added: ''I had a great dad and always wanted to have the experience and I'm having it now . . . it's no accident that my unbelievable gift of becoming a dad is connected to Shep's story.''
