‘Fuller House’ star Jodie Sweetin has made no secret of her troubled past, even penning a no-holds barred memoir titled ‘unSweetined’. But earlier this week Sweetin had her past misbehaviour dragged up again, when Miley Cyrus posted an old, unflattering pic of the star on her Instagram.

Jodie SweetinJodie Sweetin has responded to Miley Cyrus’ recent Instagram post.

The picture showed a younger Sweetin looking a little worse for wear while straddling an unidentified man. Cyrus had captioned the pic, ‘Current Mood #fullerhouse’. But after other users accused her of shaming the actress Cyrus added: ‘only you freaks take this as shaming! To me it looks like Stephanie is having a f•••ing gay ol time!’

Sweetin is best known for playing Stephanie Tanner on ‘Full House’, but has admitted that once the show ended she spiraled into a life of drug and alcohol addiction. Sweetin eventually overcame her problems and is now back as Stephanie on Netflix’s ‘Fuller House’.

When asked about Cyrus’ post by E! News Sweetin said: "I don't pay attention to negative stuff. I have so much good stuff going on in my life right now that I try not to pay attention.” Aside from appearing on ‘Fuller House’ Sweetin has also just been announced for the new season of ‘Dancing With The Stars’.

On Instagram yesterday, Cyrus also weighed in on the feud between Kim Kardashian and Bette Midler and Chloe Grace Moretz. The reality star has called out the two actresses on twitter, after they made negative comments about a throwback nude selfie she had posted.

Sharing a picture of the ‘butt’ Kimoji, Cyrus wrote: “Dear women, you ALL are acting tacky AF! Why don't we overly (myself included) fortunate women come together and try to create and bring jobs to other women in desperate need of them so they can support not only THEMSELVES but their families!”

“PS no matter how hard you (or myself) work NEVER will I feel I am worthy of the comfort I live in.... Because so many others while I tuck myself in at night are laying their head on the pavement, dreaming of all the things we take for granted every day. Much love to all my women!!!!”
