The 12-year-old actress is carving herself a remarkable acting career with her feature film debut and it's safe to say she's thrilled about the prospect. 'I just had a really incredible connection with the director', she told ET on the red carpet at the SAG Awards in Los Angeles yesterday (January 29th 2017) when asked how she managed to bag the part. 'I had a great meeting with him and you know, I just really love him. It's my first movie. I'm very excited and that's really all I can say, but it's going to be great!'

Millie is the first cast member to be announced for the upcoming sequel to Gareth Edwards' 2014 adaptation, and so far few other details have surfaced. We do know that director Dougherty will be co-writing the script with his 'Krampus' partner Zach Shields as well as Max Borenstein who wrote the first screenplay as well as that for this year's 'Kong: Skull Island'.

Rumour has it that this installment will see Godzilla face off against his arch-enemy King Ghidorah and save the Earth from the deadly residents of Planet X. A crossover film will follow the sequel, with 'Godzilla vs. Kong' to be released in 2020.
