It is a happy time for Miranda Kerr as it's revealed that she and her new husband Evan Spiegel are expecting their first child together. The due date has not been made public as of yet, but it will mark Miranda's second venture into motherhood.

The 34-year-old Australian model married the 27-year-old Snapchat founder just six months ago, but they are already starting on building their family together. They confirmed the news via a spokesperson earlier this week.

'Miranda, Evan, and Flynn are looking forward to welcoming the newest member of their family', a representative said in a statement.

Miranda and Evan have been dating since 2014 and shared their engagement on Snapchat in July 2016. They wed in May this year at Evan's Los Angeles property in what was an intimate but luxurious event with a few family members and friends.

Naturally, the former Victoria's Secret model looked stunning in a Dior haute-couture wedding gown which was designed by the label's artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri.

Miranda already has a 6-year-old son named Flynn, whose father is her first husband Orlando Bloom. The youngster acted as the ring-bearer at Miranda and Evan's wedding. The model previously revealed that they were waiting until they tied the knot to try for a child.

'I'm not planning for a child yet. Not until after we get married', the MailOnline reported her saying earlier this year. 'My partner is very traditional. We're just waiting.'

Indeed, we're expecting that she'll breeze through her second pregnancy if her first is anything to go by. Her secret? Plenty of exercise and a super healthy diet.

'I practiced yoga throughout my whole pregnancy and I eat really healthily and I just continued that, really', she said. 'I have been working out. I've been doing resistance training and some good squats, sit-ups and all that stuff.'
