The rocker was appalled to see so many audience members taking cellphone snapshots at the group's farewell show in Miami, Florida on Wednesday (02Sep15), he decided to speak out about the practice in the hope that fans will leave their mobile devices in their pockets at upcoming gigs.

Taking to Twitter.com after the show, Sixx raged, "Stop taking selfies and be AT the concert idiots. #morons (sic)".

He then quipped, "LIVING IN THE MOMENT AT A CONCERT IS A CRIME."

Bandmate Tommy Lee also tweeted after the set and suggested Sixx's complaints could have been linked to a bad night for the group: "I want to apologize for the s**tshow tonight! Well... I played good (sic)!"

He did not specify what went awry, but unconfirmed reports suggest Sixx clashed with the snap-happy crowd during the band's set, with one Twitter user responding to Lee, complaining about Sixx "spitting on the audience throughout the show".
