fun. frontman Nate Ruess was left soaked through on Sunday (06Apr14) after rolling around onstage in the rain during an outdoor show in Dallas, Texas.
The pop hitmakers joined Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band on the Reunion Park bill for the final day of the three-day NCAA March Madness Music Festival, which was held to coincide with the weekend's Final Four college basketball championships.
Sunday's free concert was blighted by the cold and wet weather, but Ruess refused to let the rain dampen his spirits and instead laughed off the chilly conditions by looking up into the clouds and shouting, "Is that all you got?", before dropping to the ground and rolling around as his group performed tracks like Carry On, We Are Young and Some Nights.
The rain continued to fall as Springsteen took the stage and launched into a cover of Van Halen's Jump at the top of his hits set, which included Cover Me, Born to Run, No Surrender and Hungry Heart. He also serenaded one young fan with a rendition of Spirit in the Night.
Other artists who performed during the three-day festival included Jason Aldean, The Killers and LL Cool J.
The NCAA Championship Game between the University of Connecticut's Huskies and the University of Kentucky's Wildcats will take place in Arlington, Texas on Monday night (07Apr14).
