National Geographic Kids magazine now has the Guinness World Record for the longest chain of shoes. Peter Wajda organized a shoe drive recruiting family, schoolmates and his pediatrician and collected 509 shoes.These used sneakers will be shipped off to Nike's 'Reuse-a-Shoe' program which will be recycled into material to build athletic surfaces such as basketball courts, soccer fields and playgrounds Washington DC, USA
