Naya Rivera & Big Sean Are Engaged!

Former Glee star Naya Rivera is engaged to her boyfriend, rapper Big Sean. Rivera's representative confirmed the news of their engagement today (4 October), speaking to Just Jared.

Big Sean and Naya Rivera are engaged!

The 26-year-old actress and singer has been dating Big Sean, A.K.A. Sean Michael Anderson, since the beginning of this year. They made their first public appearance together in April at the premiere of 42, but Big Sean stated (in an interview with Complex) they had been dating for some time before. It seems, despite the publicity that has arisen from their relationship, they remained low key for some time and were not concerned about making their relationship public knowledge. Sean put their feelings at the time as simply being, "I really liked her and she really like me."

The couple made their first public appearance in April 2013.

The couple met via Twitter, it seems they had been keeping track on one another for a while. In an interview with Access Hollywood, Rivera explained their first encounter. She said "I had followed him and he sent me a little message like, 'I'm a fan.' I tweeted that I followed him; I was trying to get his attention. We went to dinner and the rest is history."

It also seems the couple have been thinking about a long term future together as, when asked on Access Hollywood Live, if there was a possibility of marriage and children, Rivera answered "absolutely!"

Rivera and Big Sean are not only romantically engaged but they have worked together professionally. Big Sean featured on Rivera's recent single 'Sorry'.
