In the short video, the 'How I Met Your Mother' alum discusses working alongside the show producers Neil Meron and Craig Zadan, as well as the importance of making the A-List stars in attendance and the viewers at home as conformable as possible.

As for his own preparation, Harris has been researching what makes a successful awards spectacle. "I spent a lot of time looking at past years' shows and what they accomplished, and then from that I'm trying to see what's left," he said in the video. "So with that in my mind I had hired on a team of writers and we come up with an idea that we think is unique to film, but is also cool to watch live, that will also be another level cool to watch at home."

"There will be a musical number at some point in the show. I'm a magician so I wouldn't be surprised if there's a hint of magic," Harris continued to tease, before adding, "I fear I've said too much."
