Kim Fields is joining The Real Housewives of Atlanta for the show’s upcoming eighth season. Fields’ casting in the show was revealed on Monday (28th September) when Bravo released a new trailer for the upcoming series. Fields also confirmed the news via Twitter.

Nene Leakes will no longer be appearing on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The 47-year-old reality star announced the news on Tuesday (30th June) yet she already has plans to move on to a game show, To Tell the Truth.

NeNe Leakes will be a panellist on To Tell the Truth.

'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' could be about to become a much quieter show as Nene Leakes has announced her departure from the series after seven seasons. The 38 year old shot to fame on the Bravo reality show which documents the lives (and dramas) of six affluent women living in Atlanta.

NeNe Leakes has announced she’s leaving 'The Real Housewives Of Atlanta'.

Speaking to People magazine Leakes explained her departure saying, "This was definitely a hard decision for me. Me and my husband [Gregg Leakes] have been going back and forth on it for weeks now. But my contract is up and I just think this is the right time. This is my opportunity to spread my wings and do different things.”

Kelly Osbourne has left E!'s Fashion Police following a racist remark made by her co-host, Giuliana Rancic. Rancic made a comment on Monday's Fashion Police Oscars special about Zendaya Coleman's hair. "Like I feel like she, she smells like patchouli oil. Or weed. Yeah, maybe weed," Rancic said of Coleman's dreadlocks. Although Rancic has apologised, Osbourne was allegedly furious with Rancic for her remark and has decided to leave Fashion Police as a result.

It was a sad day for fans of Broadway's most extraordinary rendition of Rodgers + Hammerstein's 'Cinderella', as the show finally bowed out in its final curtain call on Sunday. Actors looked tearful as they neared the end the previous night (January 3rd 2015).

The Tony award winning musical saw 'Joyful Noise' actress Keke Palmer in the role of Ella; a stunning choice, and she became the first ever black actress to land the role when she signed on for it in 2014. The show marks her debut in theatre and she certainly looked the part as she showed off her huge white princess dress on stage, her eyes brimming with tears as Cinderella finally lands the future of her dreams.

Since E! confirmed Fashion Police will be continuing without Joan Rivers the jury's been out on who will take the late comedienne's place. Now actress and comedienne Kathy Griffin and Real Housewives star NeNe Leakes are reportedly in the running to host the show.

Nene Leakes has issues with Wendy Williams, which she has decided to air out in public. And you can hardly find a more public forum than the internet . Following in the proud traditions of outraged people with a wireless connection, NeNe took to her own blog on Tuesday to air out her grievances, which reportedly had to do with an expensive handbag she was due.

Wendy Williams found herself on the receiving end of a long-winded rant this Tuesday.

“Wendy I am sure people think that I’ve done something to you, maybe we had a beef or I slept with your man but none of that is true!” Leakes wrote. “I’ve actually only been nice to you! I gave you a beautiful black $3,200 Celine Phantom Bag to celebrate your 500th show but you haven’t spoken of that!”

Nene Leakes was rushed to hospital earlier this week and felt lucky to be alive when she was eventually diagnosed with blood clots in her lungs. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star made it known that she was in the hospital on Monday (18 Nov.), but it wasn't until Tuesday (19 Nov.) that she learnt what was wrong with her, passing the information on to her fans soon after.

Leakes is out of hospital now

"My arms are hurting wit these IV's #blessedtobealive," Leakes wrote on her official website on Monday, along with a photo of her arms laden with tubing and tape. The 45-year-old clarified her situation a day later, again posting the news to her website, writing, "Late last week I wasn’t feeling well and was feeling a little short of breath. I know my body and I know when I should be concerned so I went to the hospital to get checked out."

Nene Leakes’ dog drama was luckily ended by police, yesterday (March 5, 2013), as she accidentally locked her dog inside her car and had to call on the Beverley Hills cops to help out. It’s one thing locking your keys in your car, we understand that that’s a pretty easy thing to do. But locking your keys in your car when you have a pooch inside it – now that’s a serious problem.

Unsure of how to get little Playa (a Yorkie) out of the car, a desperate NeNe Leakes (real name Linnethia Monique Johnson) called upon a passing cop to help her figure out how to get the car open again and free the pup in the process. Luckily for NeNe it was pretty chilly in Beverley Hills yesterday, so she didn’t have the additional worry of little Playa passing out from the heat inside the vehicle. Still, it must have been pretty scary stuff knowing your pet’s stuck inside your car… along with your car keys. Aside from anything else, we saw those YouTube clips a few months ago of dogs learning to drive cars. The last thing the Real Housewives of Beverley Hills star would have wanted would be to see Playa driving off in her motor.
