The Hollywood actress is behind a capsule collection for U.S. retailer New York & Company, for which she also models and serves as brand ambassador.
Earlier this month (Sep16), Eva helped open the biannual fashion event in the Big Apple, and admits despite being the picture of serenity, underneath she was a bag of nerves.
“I felt a level of anxiety when I knew everyone was sitting and waiting,” she confessed to America’s InStyle magazine. “I'm very punctual, and it's because I was a teacher's pet when I was a little. I just want to be a good student all the time, and I have this thing where I can't have people wait for me."
However the show went off without any problems, with models of all shapes and sizes strutting their stuff in Eva’s Fall/Winter 16 offerings.
On the day, mother-of-two Eva, who welcomed her and partner Ryan Gosling’s second daughter Amada in April, showed off her trim figure in a burgundy lace dress from the collection. Despite juggling motherhood and movie work, Eva was hands on with the fashion show, helping to pick the music and the models, as well as designing the clothes.
“There was so much to plan and coordinate, and I was super, super involved in every aspect,” she beamed.
