In a matter of hours, the final of Fender's Undiscovered Artist of the Year will begin, with the winner being voted for by viewers from across the UK. One of three acts will be crowned the nation's best new and unsigned acoustic singer-songwriter and get to perform a major live show in London next month.

Presented by Radio 1's Huw Stephens, the show - which can be viewed live in the frame below tonight - will present the winner with the opportunity to perform live at the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire on November 3rd 2017, opening for the critically acclaimed indie singer-songwriter Lucy Rose.

Among the three hopefuls are bluesy South Londoner and busking extraordinnaire Sherika Sherard, who has independently released her debut album 'Just Saying' and her 2017 EP 'Patience and Fears'. There is also Hattie Briggs from Stroud, Gloucestershire - who also has two albums out entitled 'Young Runaway' and 'Red & Gold', as well as the EPs 'Hide' and 'Here's To Hoping' - and Martha Phillips of Leeds/Manchester band The Elephant Trees which has been championed by the one and only KT Tunstall.

The competition has dwindled from 650 to this epic top three, with the Sherika sweeping through the semi-final on October 12th where she was standing against Carrie Macdonald, James Riley and Soham De.

You can watch the Fender Undiscovered Artist of the Year Competition Live Final here from 8pm today (October 26th 2017). Voting will open at the same time, and will remain open up until almost midnight on Sunday (October 29th).
