Hit TV dramas Game Of Thrones, Homeland and Treme have been named among the best in U.S. broadcasting after landing honours for the upcoming Peabody Awards.
Comedy series Parks and Recreation, starring Amy Poehler and Aziz Ansari, and Fred Armisen's offbeat Portlandia have also been selected to receive recognition at the annual prizegiving, as has funnyman Stephen Colbert, the host of satirical political talk show The Colbert Report.
