Symone Sidelined From Broadway With Flu

Actress/singer Raven-symone has sat out a series of appearances in Broadway musical Sister Act after falling ill.
The That's So Raven star won over critics as aspiring disco diva-turned-nun Deloris Van Cartier during her theatre debut back in March (12), but last week (begs02Apr12), the young actress contracted a bout of influenza.
An understudy stepped in to fill the 26 year old's place for a handful of gigs and the star hopes to be back on stage again by Tuesday (10Apr12), according to BroadwayWorld.com.
In a post on Twitter.com, Symone writes, "My Bway debut was incredible..disappointed I've missed perfs (performances) bc (because) of the flu. My apologies, but I'll be back in the habit (costume) very soon."
