The New Kids on the Block singer has urged the foursome - comprised of Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne - to get back together as soon as possible following their extended hiatus otherwise their chances of achieving the same success they have done over the past five years will diminish dramatically.

The 'Troublemaker' singer has admitted he'd love to collaborate with the One Direction hunk is thinks their recording sessions will result in them talking about girls and football instead of getting their heads down and penning some tracks together.

Nervous One Direction fans can relax a bit, with the news that Niall Horan confirming that the band will “one hundred per cent” be reuniting in the future.

The 23 year old singer, who has recently announced a solo career and released a new single ‘This Town’, was speaking to American radio show hosts Kannon and Sybil on Tuesday (October 18th), and said: “We’d be stupid not to go back to it. It changed our lives, there’s no doubt about it.”

Niall Horan has been the quietest of the One Direction boys since the band announced its hiatus at the end of 2015, but a new interview with the band’s mentor Simon Cowell suggests that he might be preparing a solo career in the very near future.

People magazine spoke to the Syco music mogul on Wednesday (July 27th), and in it he praised the “loyalty” of the remaining 1D members by name – except Liam Payne, strangely – and intimated that it would soon be Horan’s turn to launch a solo career. Reports also indicate that it will be Sony (part of the same group as Syco) with whom the 22 year old singer will be inking a deal.

One Direction’s Niall Horan took to Twitter on Tuesday evening, to call out a group of ‘abusive’ fans, who have been constantly sending him messages. The singer said the group have sent him texts saying ‘things you wouldn’t even believe’ about him, his family and even his young nephew.

Niall Horan says he’s been receiving abusive messages from fans for two weeks.

‘For the last two weeks I've been receiving messages off a group of fans, they have drowned my phone in messages, keeping me awake at night,’ Horan tweeted. ‘But the worst part is. They have been nothing but abusive. Saying things you wouldn't even believe about me and my family.’

The reports, sure to disturb 1D fans who are increasingly concerned that the group’s much-vaunted hiatus might be significantly than they had bargained for, came after the 22 year old singer tweeted Fevola and Aussie cricket legend Shane Warne after they were spotted on the red carpet taking pictures together at the Logie Awards (celebrating the best in Australian television) on Sunday (May 8th).

Bad news for One Direction fans, as it looks as if the boyband won’t be getting back together anytime soon. According to the Daily Star, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan are having so much fun away from the band, their year-long hiatus has been extended.

One Direction are said to not be reuniting any time soon.

“One Direction are not coming together in a year or even two,” a source told the newspaper. “The fans have hoped that the group would honour their announcement of returning within 12 months. But that is a long way off and the boys are not even on track to mention a comeback.”

He’s been the quietest of the Directioners since the boyband went on hiatus at the end of last year, but you’d never say that Niall Horan is practically invisible to the public – until now. The singer posted a selfie on the London Underground with NOBODY recognising who he was.

The humble 22 year old elected to get on the Tube to travel around the capital on Friday night (March 25th) rather than use a private car. However, he posted a picture on Snapchat of himself travelling on the Northern Line with four fellow passengers sitting in the background, all totally unaware they were travelling with pop royalty.

Niall Horan is set to put his solo career away from One Direction on hold in order to set up a golf talent agency, according to a new report.

The Sun claimed on Wednesday (February 3rd) that the 22 year old, who is an enthusiastic follower of all kinds of sports, has set up a new firm called Modest Golf Management with the help of 1D’s existing management company (also called Modest).

The company will seek to uncover the best in young British and Irish golfing talent. Horan has set up the firm alongside Mark McDonnel, a former account manager at golf equipment brand TaylorMade, to help him with the project.

Harry Styles has made moves to distance himself from One Direction as he embarks on a solo career, by reportedly firing his publicist and management team of five years.

According to a report in The Sun, the singer has ditched Modest Management, who made him and 1D famous, and is being represented for the purposes of his upcoming solo material by his close friend, L.A. agent Jeffrey Azoff. Furthermore, Syco and Simon Cowell are also rumoured to be next in line for the chop.

The long-term future of One Direction may be bleaker than first imagined, with a new report suggesting that the British boy band might not return at all after their year-long hiatus they announced back in August last year.

Having wrapped up their On The Road Again tour in October 2015 and released their fifth album, Made in the A.M., weeks later, an unnamed source close to the group has told Us Weekly that the group has decided “not to renew their recording contract”, meaning that they intend to go in separate directions.

“The 1D thing just ran its course. They’ll remain friends, but they are exhausted and want solo careers.” Another insider added that the foursome might not pursue solo careers in front of a microphone.

Authorities are predicting that 80,000 dedicated One Direction fans will descend on London's Leicester Square for tonight's premiere of their documentary film This Is Us, directed by Morgan Spurlock. 

Hundreds of fans had camped overnight in central London to ensure priority wristbands to the premiere, though by 6pm, police predict that Leicester Square could be swamped by 80,000, each with ideas of getting a glimpse of their idols.

Niall Horan has forced to battle his way through a recent One Direction concert in Denver, Colorado, earlier this week and ended up feeling even worse for his efforts as he struggled to sleep on Wednesday (24 July) night. Ah, we was wondering when this was going to happen. One Direction have added a couple more million to their bank accounts, though this time they're thinking for themselves. It's a clear sign that the boys are beginning to look after their own interests following the phenomenal success of their first couple of years in the industry. The publishing deals are being overseen by Fingate, the company who also cash in on Elvis Presley's back catalogue as well as work by Britney Spears, Black Eyed Peas and Foo Fighters. 

A source said: "This is a real statement of intent from the band. They have absolutely no intention of being spoon-fed pop puppets. They want to write and they want to earn as individuals." As well as the new deals, each of the five members have also invested in their own studio set-ups at home and have been attending writing sessions together after gigs. On their latest record Take Me Home, the band had three songs with individual writing credits while the others were penned by outsider songwriters. The group did not have a hand in writing the three biggest hits from the album, Live While We're Young, Kiss You and Little Things.

Niall Horan has gone and broken the little hearts of many, many One Direction fans this week, by hooking up with Irish model Zoe Whelan. The 19-year-old is said to have met Zoe backstage at one of the group's concerts and has been dating her for a number of months, according to The Sun. 

"Niall has been secretly seeing Zoe for a couple of months after he met her backstage," an insider revealed. "She's a Dubliner but is based in London to work on her modelling career. Zoe's travelled all over the UK to meet up with Niall on the band's tour." Things appear to have got serious between the pair, and Horan took Zoe to meet the rest of his family at the wedding of his brother Greg in their hometown of Mullingar last month. "The biggest sign he's really serious about her is that he introduced her to his whole family at his brother's wedding," the insider added, "Zoe's the first girlfriend Niall has brought back to his hometown of Mullingar since making it big, so it was a big deal and the talk of his family at the wedding."

Niall is the latest One Direction member to enter into a serious relationship. Liam and Louis are thought to have steady girlfriends, though Zayn is on-and-off with Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards. Harry Styles is, well, Harry Styles.

What’s this then? A last minute dash by Niall Horan to overtake Harry Styles as the bona fide hottie of One Direction? We’re not sure it’s going to work, Mr Styles has had the position long since sewn up, but respect to Niall anyway for trying. The Irish fella announced that he’d had his braces removed, and it has to be said it does look like they’ve done a wonder on his cheeky grin. What a dream boat.

Horan excitedly announced the news of the impending removal of his braces on Twitter, writing “Morning. ! This is it ! I'm goin to the dentist! I think this is my last hour with braces! Oh how I'm gona miss them ! Naaaaaaat !”

Afterwards young Niall seemed pretty chuffed with the results, posting a before and after picture on his Twitter and, we have to say, it did look an awful lot better. His fans agreed. “you perfect before,you're perfect now! you'll always be perfect ♥” wrote one fan, with another commenting “OMFG I'm dead. Your teeth are just so asdfghjkl perfect. I can't wait to get mine off now!!!!(-:” So good times all round for Niall! However, the Daily Mirror have pointed out that Madame Tussaud’s might not be too happy with Horan. They’ve just finished a waxwork model of the One Direction star including braces. Oops.

Niall Horan from One Direction is in for a surprise after buying cheeky JLS mate Marvin Humes' old North London pad for £2.2million.

Now that newlywed Marvin and Rochelle Wiseman from The Saturdays have moved out of the swish property, the 19-year-old 1D star has decided to move in but mischievous Marvin, 27, has taken the opportunity to play a few housewarming pranks on his fellow boy band buddy. 'Yes, I got him a moving-in present', he told The Mirror. It was a cushion with a picture of himself on. Our management had One Direction cushions. So I got a Niall face and left it in the house for him to see.' A pretty tame wind-up, we'll admit, but we're sure they have worse in store after discovering what one source revealed to the tabloid. 'Whiffy prawns hidden in the curtain rails were joked about', they said. 'And, of course, Niall will have to quickly change the locks so he doesn't end up with a member of JLS letting themselves in and roaming around in the early hours.'

We're also wondering if Niall splashing out a massive £2.2million on the house was also a prank after Marvin revealed: 'I gave him mates' rates'. Hmmm!

Though it was reported yesterday that Demi Lovato and Niall Horan were 'loosely dating' it seems that Lovato felt the need to correct the press and reassure Niall's fans that he's still a single man.

She admitted her feelings for the One Direction singer, as reported by Yahoo.com, when she said “He knows I have a little crush on him, and we enjoy having dinner when we get the chance. We speak and message all the time... [But] I don't want a relationship over Skype; we are both in a place where we feel zero pressure to rush.”

However, talking with Teen Vogue and alluding to her recent stint in rehab, and her continued progress Lovato said of Niall: "He's a really awesome, sweet guy but [Niall]'s not my boyfriend...I'm in a place right now where I really need to focus on myself." She furthered her comment saying “Obviously, I'm still going to like people—or love them—but I need to not be in a relationship for a while because I need to be OK with being alone, first.” In 2010 the new X-Factor judge had to cancel her involvement with the Jonas Brothers tour and checked into rehab to tackle her depression and eating disorder.
