A few days after Harry Styles released his debut album, his old boy band mate Niall Horan releases a lyric video for his latest single 'Slow Hands'. Whilst this isn't the official video, it has some good footage of Niall and his new band mates having a good time whilst recording the single in the studio.
Given the timing of the release, comparisons to Styles are going to be made; whereas Harry has perhaps opted for a slightly rockier edge, Niall has stayed closer to the poppier end of the spectrum which should please his old One Direction fans. It's also worth noting that Niall Horan is the only one with a writing credit on the single which is pretty admirable for a former manufactured boyband member.
Slow Hands is the second single that Horan has released and follows on from his September ’16 release ‘This Town’.
No more information about Niall’s debut solo album has been released as yet but it’s sure to only be a short matter of time before we’re seeing a full-length release from the Irishman.
Niall will join Rag ‘n’ Bone Man and Bruno Mars on stage later this summer (June 10) when he plays to 80,000 people at the now sold out Capital Summertime Ball which will take place at Wembley.
