The 'Hunger Games' and 'X-Men' star, the highest earning actress in Hollywood, admitted that even she has trouble dating.
She may be the highest-paid female actor in Hollywood, but Jennifer Lawrence says that she has trouble finding a date, claiming that she spends most weekend evenings alone.
“No one ever asks me out. I am lonely every Saturday night. Guys are so mean to me,” the 25 year old complained to Vogue for its December issue. “I know where it’s coming from, I know they’re trying to establish dominance, but it hurts my feelings. I’m just a girl who wants you to be nice to me. I am straight as an arrow.”

With the world first running out of oil, water soon followed. Planet Earth is now covered in endless deserts, and people driven completely insane through desperation. Across the lawless land, flee two rebels, desperately holding onto what could perhaps be the only chance for the world's salvation and order. Perusing them, is an evil, chaotic bandit leader, desperate to get his hands on what they carry. And then there's Max (Tom Hardy) - a simple man of action and few words, who just wants to live his life outside of all this madness. But in a world gone insane, just how long until he becomes Mad Max?
Over 35 years after his directorial debut with 'Mad Max', George Miller returns to the franchise that made him with 'Mad Max: Fury Road'. After almost 25 years in development hell, the fourth film in the 'Mad Max' series began its principle photography in July 2012 in Namibia, with filming finishing in December of the same year. In November 2013, certain parts of the film had to undergo re-filming before it was finally finished. 'Mad Max: Fury Road' is set to hit theatres on 15th May 2015 in the US.
With the upcoming 17th October release of 'Young Ones', members of the cast were photographed arriving at the premier in New York City. These stars included Nicholas Hoult, best known for his role in the 'X-Men' franchise, as well as Elle Fanning, who recently appeared alongside Angelina Jolie in 'Maleficent'.
Things seem to be running smoothly for Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin as Lawrence was once again there to support her new beau at his recent performance in Los Angeles.

Jennifer Lawrence looked breath-taking in blue velvet at the world premiere of 'X-Men: Days Of Future Past' held at the Jacob Javits Center in New York. The actress, who plays Mystique in the movie, seemed thrilled to see her fans as she signed autographs and high fived several people on the way down the red carpet.
Jennifer Lawrence has been dishing to Marie Claire, from her relationship with Nicholas to even her handbag contents, J-Law proves once again why she's our favourite actress.
Taking a break from filming Hunger Game’s third and fourth instalment, Jennifer Lawrence has given an in-depth interview to Marie Claire magazine and she’s got plenty of things to get straight. She doesn’t want to be 'just a GIF', that Oscar’s fall was real, oh and Nicholas Hoult has a beautiful face. As always with J-Law, nothing is off limits here.

So, what’s in Jennifer’s handbag?
The actress says she doesn't "want to constantly be a gif."
Jennifer Lawrence has opened up on all the attention her characteristically goofy behaviour has brought in in the past year in a new interview with Marie Claire. The Hunger Games actress has just started a new batch of filming for the final instalment of the fantasy series, Mockingjay, in Paris. On Wednesday, the 23 year-old star was spotted filming in the city alongside co-star Liam Hemsworth.
Jennifer Lawrence Talks Openly About Her Portrayal In The Media In A New Interview.
Lawrence, who has an Oscar to her name, has finally spoken out about all the press attention she has received for her unconventional personality as well as her very un-Hollywood trips and slips here, there and everywhere. The Silver Linings Playbook star had two big falls at the Oscars this and last year, causing some to begin to think that Lawrence was doing it for the publicity.

Even when Lawrence tries to lay low, she just can't catch a break.
Jennifer Lawrence has been slipping under the radar in the post-awards season cooldown, but that doesn’t mean the star hasn’t got a few stories to tell. Recently, the queen of relatability (and red carpet gaffes) got stalked by paparazzi on a night out with her partner Nicholas Hoult. She did the most natural thing possible, under the circumstances and flipped off the cameras through the back window of her cab.
JLaw has never really been known as a delicate flower.
It’s not surprising that Lawrence didn’t enjoy the paps snooping around when she and Hoult were just enjoying a meal out. In the photos, published by the New York Daily News, the couple are just leaving a bar in London and are caught in the back of a pink taxi. Lawrence looks more than a little miffed, while Hoult appears to be gently lowering her hand, according the the News. The photo isn’t really clear.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is getting closer.
Fox has released the X-Men: Days of Future Past behind-the-scenes featurette as it prepares its promotional material ahead of the movie's release on May 23. Mainly featuring Bryan Singer explaining his reasons for getting back into the director's chair for the latest entry in the long-running superhero series, the new clip also features some pretty neat looking footage from the blockbuster.
Ian McKellen in X-Men: Days of Future Past
Singer's first two movies starring Hugh Jackman paved the way for the younger cast (McAvoy, Fassbender, Lawrence etc) to take a hold of the franchise, though the filmmaker is delighted to be forging both teams together for Days of Future Past.

Uploaded earlier today, the trailer for the next X Men movie will blow you away
X-Men: Days of Future Past won't be out until May next year, but after you see the first trailer for it you'll wish that you could jump forward and dive right into it now. In it, we get our first real glimpse at our mutant heroes and villains, from past and future, who must bend the space time continuum to make the future a better day for mutants throughout the Marvel Universe.
The past (McAvoy) and present (Stewart) Xaviers meet face to face in the trailer
Based on the much lauded and incredibly popular (if you happen to be into comic books at least) 'Days of Future Past' storyline from the Uncanny X-Men, the move will unite the characters from the first X-Men movies with those from 2011's X-Men: First Class, with the present day X-Men having to go back in time to prevent the ongoing war against mutants, who are being hunted down by the robotic Sentinels. Are you still with us? Good, because it gets even more complicated.
The biggest Hollywood blockbusters of the past and coming months cast British talent in leading roles.
It used to be that British actors were traditionally cast by Hollywood filmmakers as villains; in endless kids' Disney flicks we'd hear exaggeratedly posh English voices coming out of the most evil of witches ('Snow White'), scary giant octopuses ('The Little Mermaid') and murderous lions ('The Lion King'), and even the creators of some of the biggest blockbusters such as 'Die Hard' and 'The Silence Of The Lambs' scoured the UK for the perfect sinister accent.
However, now the Brits are playing the good guys with a surge of overseas talent showcasing their well-practised foreign accents over the past few years - even one of the most American flicks of 2012, Steven Spielberg's 'Lincoln' cast London born Daniel Day-Lewis as the iconic US President. Here are our four biggest British stars that have been making their mark in Hollywood with seminal roles over the past and coming months.

Stop the presses! JLaw and Nicholas Hoult were seen together again!
The blogs are all atwitter with news of Jennifer Lawrence dating her ex-boyfriend Nicholas Hould again. The reason? The two shared what People magazine described as “a cozy dinner”. Naturally, with the couple’s split just three months ago, still fresh in everyone’s mind, people started wondering. "They arrived together," an observer told the magazine. Which tells us nothing really, since people, who have dinner together, tend to arrive together as well. But everyone is hoping that the couple have rekindled their romance, if only so that we get to hear some more adorable gushing from Lawrence on her beau. Last summer, Lawrence said of her then-boyfriend: "[My boyfriend] is honestly my best friend, and hopefully I'm his best friend, too. He's my favorite person and he makes me laugh harder than anybody."
How cute is that? Of course, it's probably too early to start speculating about a reunion, but still. Now would be the perfect time for a lovey-dovey reunion as well, since both the Hunger Games star and the Warm Bodies actor are filming the X-Men sequel, X-Men: Days of Future Past. Lots of time, on set, together, in really tight outfits… do you see where we’re going with this? But anyway, nothing is official just yet and sometimes, a dinner date is just a dinner date.
Rekindling old romances is definitely in this season.
The reviews are in for Jack the Giant Slayer and they don't paint a pretty picture at all.
There is an obvious trend of fairytales being converted into high budget action flicks of late (to varying levels of success) and Jack the Giant Slayer is just the latest production to ride the wave.
Is it any good though? Well, no, if you believe the reviews. The LA Times’ Kenneth Turan goes as far as to say that “Despite some good acting, there may never have been a Jack tale that delivers so little pleasure for so many dollars.” Harsh. At the same time, though, it is obvious where this flick suffers. You can add all of the shiny CGI and high action you like to a film, but without an interesting script it’s still just hanging tinsel on a pile of trash.
The Huff Post’s Mike Ryan, on the other hand, has something to say in defense of the film. Namely, hold on past the first 25 minutes and it actually turns into an enjoyable flick: “Once the beanstalk goes up, the story tightens and becomes something that could be described as enjoyable.” Well, it’s not much, but that’s all we have.

Who else knows movies better than one of the guys behind IMDB? Probably very few people, so as the LA Times reports, when Keith Simonton, the managing editor for the website, predicts that Warm Bodies will take the box office top spot over the weekend in North America, he's probably worth listening to.
Simonton predicts that Warm Bodies, starring Nicholas Hoult and Teresa Palmer, will take $17.4 million from Friday to Sunday this weekend. He compared it to Zombieland, another zombie flick that has a similar premise of the teenage-love-story-zombie-horror genre, which scored $24.7 million. "People had heard that Bill Murray was in [Zombieland], and that added a cool factor," he said. "Something like 'Warm Bodies' doesn't have that cachet, so I'm already bumping the per-screen average down."
Warm Bodies goes against all the zombie movie conventions by making one of the zombies have emotion. Nicholos Hoult plays 'R', a member of the un-dead who falls for a living girl (Palmer), whose boyfriend he's just killed. Reviews so far are middling, with some die-hard fans of the genre not enjoying its parodying style. But, out just in time for Valentines day should swing in its favour, as a love story with a twist.
We’re going to ease in to our round-up of this week’s movie releases, by starting with the ‘above average’ and moving gently down the quality scale, to the truly awful. We already know, by the fact that Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters is riding high at the top of the box office, that there is literally no accounting for taste, so we will no longer try to influence your movie-going habits. We will simply present you with the facts and leave you to queue for your popcorn.
First up, Nicholas Hoult and Teresa Palmer star in Warm Bodies, a zombie comedy that gets the laughs from Hoult’s slightly unusual zombie character who decides to save a living human, rather than chomp down on her arteries for a nice snack. Of course, that living human happens to be an attractive young female, in the form of Teresa Palmer (who, for the record, looks a lot like Kristen Stewart in this movie). John Malkovich also stars in this zom-com, which is a little bit ‘Shaun of the Dead,’ (pretending to be a zombie? Been there, done that) but looks like an entertaining way to pass a couple of hours.
Richard Roper of Chicago Sun-Times came up trumps with the most enthusiastic review so far, writing “I kinda love this movie. "Warm Bodies" is a well-paced, nicely directed, post-apocalyptic love story with a terrific sense of humor and the, um, guts to be unabashedly romantic and unapologetically optimistic.”
In many respects, zombies are inherently funny. They're slow moving, grunting, dishevilled creatures of the undead whom no one seems to be able to get away from despite their laggard advancement. Sure, in great quantities they're pretty scary, and if they bite you you're doomed, but otherwise the zombie horror is a genre primed for parody and pastiche. Warm Bodies is one of these parodies and as reviews roll in, it appears it could have been done a little better.
Despite generally positive ratings from critics, plenty of faults were found. Starring Nicolous Hoult (About a Boy, Skins) and Teresa Palmer (Bedtime stories), as well as an appearance from John Malcovich, it's not doing terribly in terms of cast, but the general premise seems to have let it down somewhat. As the Village Voice points out, the novel the movie was based on is an incredibly loose adaptation of Romeo and Juliet. The general premise sounds a little off, but the Village Voice were most annoyed by how tame it was describing the central romance as 'bloodless' adding that "Nobody kisses anyone else until it becomes clear that both parties have pulses, and everyone gets to keep all their limbs."
Variety were a little more favourable considers it a zombie movie made for girls (and hitting cinemas in time for Valentine's Day, that judgement fits). "The pic keeps the horror quotient in check," they write, "while focusing on the femme-friendly comedy and romance angles, offsetting the plentiful moments of suspense with cutesy scenes." The Hollywood Reporter didn't hate it, and understood the angle it was going for, and while they enjoyed Hoult's performance, the most complimentary they could be about it as a whole was saying: "At its best, Warm Bodies paints a dead zone's slow awakening with gloomy giddiness, brimming with visual humor."
The pair have been together for the past two years, having met one another on the set for the film X Men: First Class (coincidentally playing lovers in the film). Despite a positively gushing statement from Lawrence in last December's (12) Elle magazine in regards to her love life, things have taken a turn for the worse in their relationship it seems and have called it a day.
Although US Weekly offers no details on why the former flames have ended things, but as of yet no-one from either camp Lawrence or camp Hoult have come forward and refuted the claims. In last month's Elle, cover-star Lawrence was questioned on her relationship and said quite reassuringly:"[My boyfriend] is honestly my best friend, and hopefully I’m his best friend too. He’s my favorite person to be around and makes me laugh harder than anybody.”

It's been three years in the making and has changed form quite a bit in that time, but finally the trailer for Jack the Giant Slayer has been released, and it looks amazing!
With an incredible array of British stars including Nicholas Hoult, Ewan McGregor and Eleanor Tomlinson (who you may not know yet, but will soon) appearing in the film, the very foundations of the movie already seem promising. Plus, Bryan Singer is directing which is another great sign. He's the man behind X-Men, X2 and X-Men: First Class, so when it comes to heroes and villains he knows what he's doing. Fundamentally a re-envisioning of the classic fairytale, Jack and the Bean Stalk has plenty of those polemical characters, and the giants do look truly grotesque.
Singer spoke to Total Film earlier this year and said: "It's a very traditional fairytale, probably the most traditional thing I've ever done. But it'll also be a fun twist on the notion of how these tales are told," he said. "There might be some scary moments. The giants do like to eat people. There's a little of that. They're giants, you know? It's what they do!"

Jennifer Lawrence reckons that Britain is kinder to celebrities than the USA. The Hunger Games star clearly hasn’t been following the recent phone hacking scandal, or the subsequent Leveson inquiry and we have a feeling that the likes of Hugh Grant and Charlotte Church might disagree with her, after having their phones hacked by the British press, but there you have it. Apparently, Jennifer can’t even go shopping at her local Wholefoods store in Los Angeles, after the press discovered that that was where she went shopping for healthy snacks.
Jennifer Lawrence’s boyfriend is Nicholas Hoult, so she has been spending a fair bit of time in Blighty recently with the British actor and has a soft spot for London, saying “I love London. All these perfect little pubs in every corner where everyone is fine. The more I travel, the more I get tired of LA when I get back. I’ve been to maybe six restaurants in the four years I’ve lived there.”
Talking of her relationship with Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence is the latest cover star of Vogue in the UK and told the style magazine that her new beau isn’t too fussed over fashion. She explains that he’s not usually bothered about what she’s wearing and what’s more, he has no idea of how good looking he is. “Oh, he really doesn't care," she said. "Like he'll sometimes wear these white tennis shoes with jeans, then tuck his pants into his socks. He has absolutely no idea how good-looking he is. I think a lot of women and men hate me because of that.” Yeah, that and your own good looks. And the fame. And the money…
Jack is a young farmhand working for the King. One day, he comes across small bean-like objects, which are described as 'holy relics' from a faraway land. The relics, however, are full of dark magic and could change the world if placed in the wrong hands. Jack is entrusted with them, on the condition that he doesn't lose them or get them wet. Jack is puzzled but accepts the relics anyway.
That night, a terrible storm rages. Jack has left the bean shaped objects on a surface in his hut, where rain falls on them through a hole in the ceiling. At first, nothing happens; then Jack looks on in horror as a beanstalk grows from the ground under his hut. The beanstalk connects the human world to a world where giants roam.
Jack lands himself in trouble when a giant kidnaps the beautiful Princess Isabelle. The King sends some of his best men up the beanstalk with Jack to rescue Isabelle. Their rescue attempts are nearly in vain, though, when the giants wage war on the humans. It is up to Jack to save Isabelle and his kingdom.
Jack The Giant Killer is directed and produced by Bryan Singer, who is well known for directing the films The Usual Suspects; Superman Returns and the X-Men films. The film is based on the British fairy tale; the screenplay for the film was written by Christopher McQuarrie and Dan Studney.

The boy at the center of everything is Ralph Compton, 11 years old in the film's preamble, in which he watches (once literally, from the back seat) as his mother Lauren (Miranda Richardson) screws a married man and then takes off with him. The divorce proves ugly and Ralph is sent off to boarding school, leaving his devastated father Harry (Gabriel Byrne) behind, fending off the occasional advance from local females. The film starts properly three years later with the return home of Ralph, this time played by Nicholas Hoult, sprouted quite a bit from his About a Boy days. Ralph comes back to find Harry just remarried, this time to an American stewardess he's known for six weeks, Ruby (Emily Watson). She's a breath of warm air, waltzing right into this snobbish little colonial backwater and immediately breaks practically every one of their thousand little etiquettes - night and day to the waspish, scathing Lauren. But yet it's not enough to keep Harry from hitting the bottle hard. Harry drinks, Ruby frets, Ralph fumes, and occasionally Lauren returns just to stir things up to an even higher pitch.

Despite his high-profile position - and self-described light work week - life tends to maneuver against Spritz when he's away from the office. He's divorced, and all attempts to reconcile with his spouse (Hope Davis) are hitting dead ends. His listless and overweight daughter Shelly (Gemmenne de la Peña) earns a cruel nickname at school because her clothes are too tight. His son Mike (Nicholas Hoult) abuses marijuana, then fends off advances from his drug counselor, a sexual predator.

In About a Boy, Hugh Grant appears to be playing, well, Hugh Grant, a guy with dashing good looks who gets by on his inheritance and his incredible charm. The fact that Will "does nothing" for a living becomes a running joke and even seems to put a damper on his love life, as women are put off by his go-nowhere lifestyle. So rather than get a job, Will decides to join a single parents' support group, inventing a young son and a sob story in the hopes that the vulnerable single moms overlook his character flaws. But the plot backfires when an über-geeky 12-year-old kid named Marcus (Nicholas Hoult, more precocious even than Haley Joel Osment on bath day) takes a liking to Will, showing up on his doorstep every day after school. Alongside their unlikely friendship arise some serious issues -- primarily involving Marcus's suicidal mother (Toni Collette).

Having acquired a taste for playing against type from his spot-on performance as an overconfident office scoundrel in "Bridget Jones's Diary," Hugh Grant really sinks his teeth and his spiky new haircut into his starring role as an even more callow cad in "About a Boy."
Londoner Will Freeman is a guy who, when asked to be godfather to a friend's baby daughter, recoils in horror and tries to talk her out of it. "I'll forget all her birthdays," he insists, "until her 18th, when I'll probably take her out to get her drunk, and let's face it, probably try to shag her."
When the same well-meaning friend says she knows he has hidden depths, Will replies, "You've always had that wrong. I really am this shallow."
