Fact: Plans for a sequel to hit animated movie The Croods has been shelved. The film, about a family of cavemen, had previously been delayed from Christmas, 2017 until 2018 after the acquisition of DreamWorks Animation by Universal Pictures bosses, but now studio bosses have decided to axe the project altogether, reports Variety.com. The original movie featured the voices of Nicolas Cage, Ryan Reynolds, and Emma Stone.

Fact: The sequel to animated family film The Croods has been delayed until 2018 due to the acquisition of DreamWorks Animation by Universal bosses, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The Croods 2, which features the voices of Nicolas Cage, Ryan Reynolds, and Emma Stone, had previously been due to hit cinemas in time for Christmas, 2017.
