No Doubt are auctioning a signed electric guitar to raise funds for China White rocker Frank Ruffino, who desperately needs a liver transplant.

Gwen Stefani and her bandmates Tom Dumont, Tony Kanal and Adrian Young are selling off the autographed Hamer Electric guitar to boost the Frank Ruffino Benefit Fund, set up to help pay for the guitarist's liver transplant and post-operation recovery.

The instrument is up for sale on eBay.com and had already raised more than $1,075 (£675) as Wenn went to press.

A post on No Doubt's eBay page reads, "The money raised will be used to aid Frank Ruffino (legendary guitarist of the punk band China White) and his family by providing medical and living expenses during the time of his liver transplant surgery and post-surgery recovery.

"With all that Frank has been through medically in recent years we are so blessed to know that soon he will have a new lease on (sic) life... pain-free and healthy."

The auction closes on 30 April (13).
